Reiki Healing & Courses
What is Reiki?
Reiki is the Japanese word for universal life energy or Chi (Qi). It can be thought of as spirit, mysterious power or essence. The most important thing about Reiki is that it is an effective tool for self-healing and exploring the spiritual path. It can be a means of facilitating others in their healing without depleting your own energy. The Reiki practitioner is a channel for the healing energy, not the source. Reiki is the name given to an ancient and simple system of hands on healing, discovered by Dr Mikao Usui, a scholar and a monk in Japan in the last century. Dr Usui was looking for a way of knowing one`s life purpose. He undertook a 21-day meditation and fast called "The Lotus Repentance" which comes from Tendai Buddhism. He experienced Enlightenment or "Satori" that led to the development of Reiki. Through being attuned to Reiki you are permanently connected to a source of healing energy and can transfer this healing energy to others through a very effective healing system.
1. Physical
Reiki supports the body`s natural ability to heal itself while ridding the body of harmful toxins.
2. Mental
Reiki flows into the mind and "Neuropathways" of the brain, allowing the release of old patterns and negative thought processes.
3. Emotional
Reiki flows into all levels of a person's emotional energy body, releasing blockages and stuck feelings, promoting positive feelings such as love, trust and goodwill towards self and others.
4. Spiritual
Reiki flows into the soul and spirit, helping a person to discover their spiritual path and life purpose. It promotes the qualities of love, compassion and understanding, acceptance of self and others, it connects to the Divine, the Cosmic Spirit, the All that Is.
